The Community Program provides out patient drug and alcohol treatment for adults and adolescents. We also offer support services to significant others, including family members and children whose lives are affected by a substance abuser.
A Full Range of Treatment Services for Adults and Adolescents – Focusing on Education, Relapse Prevention and Recovery.
Services include:
• Individual, Family and Group Therapy
•Psychiatric Evaluations and Medication Management
•Groups: Parenting, Adolescent, Relapse Prevention, Substance Abuser Education and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy
•Specialized Groups for Women, and Gay/Lesbian population
•Hypnosis offered for nicotine cessation and stress management
•DMV approved for DWI treatment
•Vocational Counseling
•8 Week Anger Management Course
•Consultation and Referral Services
•Presentations available for schools, organizations and clubs
Our program is licensed and funded by the New York State Office of Alcohol and Substance Abuse Services (OASAS) and the Nassau County Department of Mental Health, Chemical Dependency and Developmental Disabilities. We serve people residing within the Town of Oyster Bay and Westbury/New Cassel areas. Community Program is a member of NAFAS, Nassau Alliance For Addiction Services.

•Thursday – 9:00 AM – 9:30 PM
•Friday – 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Payment for Services:
We accept a variety of private medical insurance as well as Medicaid and Medicare as full or partial payment. Fees are based on a sliding scale for those without insurance.
