September is National Recovery Month This year’s Recovery Month theme, Join the Voices for Recovery: Now More Than Ever!, highlights the importance of recovery and treatment for substance use disorders. People suffering from substance use disorders can be uniquely affected by stresses from external factors, such as the workplace and economic uncertainty. Stress related to these external factors can create tensions and pressures on them as well as their family, friends, and co-workers. Now, more than ever, it is important for people with substance use disorders and their communities to support and maintain recovery or seek treatment.
